The Wheelabrator brand was born in the USA. Today’s global business has its roots in a sand mixing company founded in Pennsylvania in 1908. The US patent for the first “Wheelabrator” was filed in the 1930s. In 1957, Canada became home to the first facility outside the US of the business that was now called the “Wheelabrator Corporation”. 

Since 1987, our North America HQ is based in LaGrange, Georgia. From here, and out in the field across the US and Canada, our expert teams provide sales and service support for shot blast equipment and parts, as well as digital technology for shot blast and peening processes.

Home to our North America operations since 1987, LaGrange is where our engineering teams design shot blast solutions for customers in the US, Canada and Mexico and collaborate with our larger tech center team in Metalen, Germany.
