It's worth mentioning that the quality management systems standard of ISO, ISO 9001, has recently in its latest edition. The revision work involved experts from almost 95 participating and observing countries to bring the standard up-to-date with contemporary requirements.
With more than 1.1 million certificates issued worldwide, ISO 9001 enables organizations to demonstrate their capability to offer consistently high-quality products and services to customers. Furthermore, it serves as a tool for enhancing their processes and improving their efficiency. According to Kevin McKinley, the Acting ISO Secretary-General, ISO 9001 facilitates organizations to adapt to changing circumstances, strengthens their ability to meet customer expectations, and provides a cohesive base for growth and long-term success.
