Sisson Lehmann was founded in 1911 in Charleville, France where Wheelabrator’s center for high-spec peening is still based today. The company initially made moulding and wheelblast machines, as well as developing airblast peening processes for aerospace. Sisson Lehman became part of Wheelabrator in the 1990s and its technology portfolio was gradually moved under the Wheelabrator brand umbrella.
