What is the best part of your role?

The best part of my role is the diversity of work I get to do everyday. I find shot blasting fascinating and enjoy the variation in working with different industries, from small foundries to submarine manufacturers.

Wheelabrator stands out due to its incredible reputation in the industry and its continuous innovation. Our global range of blast wheels, which embodies everything I have learned, is a key differentiator. Additionally, our IIoT solution, Monitizer, allows customers to monitor blast machines in real time, detecting process deviations early to prevent costly downtime.

What do you value most about the relationships/partnerships with our customers?

I value integrity and reliability in relationships with customers. I believe in treating people how I want to be treated and emphasize the importance of keeping promises and maintaining customer trust. Communication and exceeding customer expectations are also key to building strong partnerships.

What’s your most memorable customer moment?

My most memorable customer moment involves my fascination with the capabilities of our machines, such as blasting 40' sections of ships’ hulls or cleaning a 200lb propane tank every seven seconds. I take pride in being part of such incredible feats and integrating our expertise into standard equipment.

If you could have a superpower to do your job better, what would it be and why? 

I wish I had the power to heal.  Since I’ve never seen a superhero do that, my next choice would be to fly.  That way I could avoid the airports and rental car counters to see more customers!

What is your favorite hobby to enjoy during your free time outside of work?

I love the music.  Seeing artists live, hearing it, playing it and singing.  All genres.  I am happiest when the music fits and enhances my mood.
